These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and all services provided by us, including but not limited to package bookings, hotel reservations, cruise bookings, event planning, event organizing, and cab services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

These Terms are designed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our customers. Please read them carefully before making any bookings or using our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Service(s)": All travel-related services provided by The Travel Delight, including package bookings, hotel reservations, cruise bookings, event planning, event organizing, and cab services.
  • "Customer" or "You": The person or entity booking or using our services.
  • "Booking": Any reservation made through our platform or via our representatives.
  • "Package": A combination of travel services, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, meals, and activities.
  • "Voucher": The official confirmation document issued for any booking.
  • "Force Majeure": Any event beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, terrorism, strikes, or war.

3. Ownership of Content

All photos, videos, and content created during trips, events, or services organized by The Travel Delight (by our team or clients) are the sole property of The Travel Delight. This content may be used by The Travel Delight for advertising and promotional purposes across all media platforms. No individual or entity may use this content without obtaining prior written permission from The Travel Delight.

We take pride in the content we create and ensure it reflects the quality and uniqueness of our services. Unauthorized use of our content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

4.1 General Booking Terms

Full payment of the trip or service cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending payments may lead to the cancellation of the booking. The Travel Delight acts as an intermediary between customers and service providers (e.g., hotels, cruise operators, cab services). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the service provider. Customers must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process to avoid any issues.

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Advance Payment: A minimum of 30% of the total booking amount is required to confirm any package, hotel, cruise, or event booking.
  • Payment Schedule:
    • Bookings made 2 months prior to travel: 30% advance payment.
    • Bookings made 1 month prior to travel: 50% advance payment.
    • Bookings made 2 weeks prior to travel: 75% advance payment.
    • Bookings made 1 week or less prior to travel: 100% payment required.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid 2 days before the travel date or as specified by our executive.
  • Last-Minute Bookings: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Travel Vouchers: Vouchers will be issued only after full payment is received.

4.3 Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices quoted are subject to applicable Indian taxes, including GST (Goods and Services Tax). Additional charges such as resort fees, service taxes, or convenience fees may apply and will be communicated during the booking process.

Customers are advised to review the total cost, including taxes and additional charges, before confirming their bookings.

4.4 ID Verification

All travelers must provide valid government-issued identification (e.g., Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) before boarding or check-in. For travel to certain destinations (e.g., Sikkim), Aadhar Card or PAN Card may not be accepted. Customers must carry a Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License.

Failure to provide valid identification may result in denied boarding or check-in, and no refunds will be provided in such cases.

4.5 Transfer of Bookings

Bookings are non-transferable. Only the names mentioned at the time of confirmation will be allowed to travel or use the services. Any requests for changes in names or details must be made at least 7 days prior to travel and are subject to approval and additional charges.

5. Service Delivery and Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Luggage and Belongings

Travelers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. The Travel Delight shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of items during the trip. We recommend that customers keep their valuables secure and purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen incidents.

5.2 Timeliness

Departure times are fixed and must be strictly adhered to. Travelers must report to the pickup point 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. If a traveler misses the departure due to delay, no refunds will be provided.

We understand that delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances, but we cannot accommodate late arrivals as it may disrupt the schedule for other travelers.

5.3 Conduct and Safety

Drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited during tours, especially during physically demanding activities like trekking or adventure sports. No act of misconduct or indiscipline will be tolerated. The Travel Delight reserves the right to terminate services for any individual without refund in case of misconduct.

We prioritize the safety and comfort of all our customers and expect everyone to adhere to the rules and guidelines provided by our team.

5.4 Health and Fitness

Our services may involve physically demanding activities (e.g., trekking, adventure sports). Customers must ensure they are in good health and physical condition to participate. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please inform us at the time of booking.

We recommend consulting a healthcare professional before participating in any physically demanding activities.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 General Cancellation Policy

No refund shall be made for the initial booking amount under any circumstances. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • 30 days or more before the trip: 50% of the total cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 15-30 days before the trip: 75% of the total cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • 0-15 days before the trip: 100% of the total cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

6.2 Hotel Bookings Cancellation

  • 7 days or more prior to check-in: 100% refund (excluding processing fees).
  • 5 days prior to check-in: 60% refund.
  • 3 days prior to check-in: 20% refund.
  • 2 days or less prior to check-in: Non-refundable.

6.3 Package Cancellation

  • 7 days or more prior to travel: 50% refund.
  • 3 days prior to travel: 10% refund.
  • 2 days or less prior to travel: Non-refundable.
  • During Peak Seasons: Cancellation of any package is not recommended. However, in case of emergencies, only 10% of the booking amount will be refunded. The remaining 90% is non-refundable.
  • For packages scheduled to travel during peak seasons, the full payment (100% of the booking amount) must be made at the time of booking.

6.4 Cruise Bookings Cancellation

Cancellation policies vary by cruise operator and will be communicated at the time of booking. Refunds, if applicable, may take up to 30 business days to process.
Please review the specific cancellation policy provided by the cruise operator before making your booking.

  • During Peak Seasons: 100% of the payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to the travel date.
  • 6.5 Event Planning and Organizing Cancellation

    • 14 days or more prior to the event: 50% refund.
    • 7 days prior to the event: 25% refund.
    • 3 days or less prior to the event: Non-refundable.
    • For single-day events, entry tickets or passes are subject to availability and are completely non-refundable. Once a ticket is sold, it cannot be returned.
    • Each event listed on our website has its own unique cancellation and refund policy. Please ensure you read the specific cancellation and refund policy carefully before booking any particular event.

    6.6 Cab Service Cancellation

    • Cancellations made 72 hours or more prior to the scheduled pickup time: Full refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time: Non-refundable.
    • Cancellations during peak season: Only 25% of the booking amount will be refunded.

    Booking a cab service during peak seasons requires full payment to confirm the reservation. Until the complete payment is made, the booking remains invalid. Once the payment is completed, the booking is considered valid and will be managed by the company until the last day of the service.

    6.7 Force Majeure

    In case of cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), we will offer alternative arrangements or credits for future bookings. No cash refunds will be provided.

    We understand that such situations are beyond anyone's control and will work with you to find the best possible solution.

    7. Liability and Insurance

    7.1 Company Liability

    The Travel Delight acts as an intermediary and is not liable for the acts, omissions, or failures of third-party service providers. We are not responsible for force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services.

    We strive to provide the best possible experience, but certain factors are beyond our control. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen incidents.

    7.2 Insurance

    Travel insurance is not included in our packages. Customers are strongly advised to purchase their own insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

    Insurance provides peace of mind and financial protection in case of unexpected events during your trip.

    8. Privacy and Data Protection

    8.1 Information Collection

    We collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, and payment details to provide our services. By using our website or services, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your information as per Indian data protection laws.

    Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information.

    8.2 Use of Information

    Your information is used to process bookings, improve our services, and communicate with you about offers and updates. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

    We may use your information to send you promotional offers and updates, but you can opt out at any time.

    8.3 Data Security

    We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    8.4 Cookies

    9. Intellectual Property
